Hi, we’re Marker!

Growing up with learning disabilities, we know firsthand how life-changing the right support can be. At one point, our teachers doubted we’d even graduate high school. But thanks to the dedication of incredible evaluators, teachers, and our parents, we received the diagnoses and support that changed our trajectories forever—leading us from struggling students to graduates of Yale and Stanford and, ultimately, to creating Marker Learning.

We built Marker because we believe every student deserves the same opportunities that we had. Yet we know that school evaluation teams are stretched thin, balancing limited resources, growing caseloads, and administrative burdens. Our mission is to empower special education departments with tools that make evaluations more efficient, accessible, and high-quality so they can focus on what matters most: identifying students’ needs and unlocking their potential.

Having struggled in school, teachers thought we'd be lucky to graduate, and we proved them wrong. We were fortunate enough to be tested privately, but not without paying thousands of dollars.

With our dyslexia and ADHD diagnosed, our confidence soared. We had the tools to understand how we learn best and the belief in ourselves to thrive in the classroom.  We went on to study at Yale and Stanford and become entrepreneurs.
