We believe that the "traditional" way of teaching math in the classroom doesn't have to be the only way. Our tutors work with each student individually to identify the techniques and strategies that best fit their learning style, using a variety of multi-sensory approaches.
We can support in all areas of elementary, middle, and high school math- from basic numbers and counting all the way up to calculus and trigonometry. In addition, we work with people of all ages to strengthen their skills with day-to-day applications of math in and out of the classroom or workplace.
Our online model allows us to source the best math tutors from all over the country. We specifically look for tutors who are highly experienced in supporting neurodivergent students, including those with dyscalculia, ADHD, and other learning disabilities. We also vet tutors for their ability to make lessons engaging and fun in an online format. All of our tutors are current or former licensed teachers with a deep passion for building confidence in math.
Within the first two weeks, we will always conduct a baseline assessment of skills to determine where a student is across each of the skills mentioned above. From there, our tutors will design a lesson plan that focuses on key areas of improvement, while also reinforcing foundational skills. We use a strengths-based approach to build confidence in each student as they learn new concepts.
